First Give appoints two new trustees
First Give is excited to announce the appointment of two new trustees to our Board. As an organisation working with schools it is vital to ensure that we have the experience and skills on our board that teachers bring. We are therefore delighted to welcome both Alice Ward and Fabian de Fabiani to our team.
Alice Ward is Principal at one of our partner schools, Mulberry School of Girls. The school is a high achieving, over-subscribed and successful girls’ comprehensive school in Tower Hamlets.
Alice said “I’m incredibly proud to be joining the Board of First Give; I’ve seen first-hand their impact in growing confidence in young people whilst helping them to improve the lives of others. I’m excited to be part of it and to contribute towards their future growth and success.”
We are also delighted to welcome Fabian de Fabiani, Senior Assistant Headteacher at Townley Grammar School. Townley is another long term partner school. Rated outstanding by Ofsted and highly commended by the DfE for their leading-edge character education provision.
Fabian said, “Having advocated for youth social action throughout my career I have championed First Give. I am excited to build on this and help light a spark of social conscience amongst young people in schools. It is a privilege to join the board and serve as a Trustee.”
Both new trustees will bring unique skills, expertise and perspectives that will significantly contribute to achieving First Give’s ambitious goals over the coming years.
