Help First Give raise £10,000 in new funding!
First Give is pitching for £10k in new funding for our First Give Primary pilot programme at The Funding Networks Spring Connectors event. Come along and lend your support, register through the link found below in the blog!
On Wednesday 17th May, our Deputy Director Isaac Jones will be pitching for £10,000 at The Funding Network’s Spring Connector – a live crowdfunding event in support of three non-profits.
Think TED talk meets a friendly Dragon’s Den! Isaac will have six minutes to tell the audience about our work at First Give and the difference we are making in schools and communities across England and Wales. After the pitches, the crowdfunding begins and the audience will aim to raise £10,000 for each organisation through an interactive pledging session.
This funding would benefit our pilot programme First Give Primary, which aims to deepen the impact of our work and create a ‘giving journey’. This programme targets primary schools and children across England and Wales. We have plans to run an extended First Give Primary pilot next year with around eight schools across the country for Year 6 pupils
We would be delighted if you could join us and lend your support; help First Give engage more children and young people in social action! Everyone is welcome at the event taking place from 5.45pm at Janus Henderson (201 Bishopsgate, London, EC2M 3AE). As little as a £10 donation can make a huge difference in helping us reach our target!
