Double our impact from the 28th of November to the 5th of December!
We are excited to announce that First Give will be participating in the Big Give Christmas Challenge 2023. This means for one week only, any donation made to us through our Big Give campaign page will be DOUBLED!
From 12pm on the 28th of November to 12pm on the 5th of December, donations made to us through our Christmas Challenge 2023 campaign page will be doubled. This is possible thanks to one of our generous supporters and The Reed Foundation, who have pledged to match fund any donation made to us, until we have hit our target of £15,000. Our campaign target of £30,000 will enable us to deliver our programme to 1,350 students in low income areas.
We work with schools across England and Wales to run a social action programme that empowers and inspires young people to support charities in their local community, igniting a spark of social conscience. Evidence from previous academic years demonstrates that 89% of students who presented at their Final reported improving awareness of social issues affecting their community. 93% of students who presented at their Final reported improving awareness of how charities help people in their local community. We aim our First Give programme to lead to a life-long ‘giving journey’ – so more people take action throughout their lives to support causes they care about and make the world a better place!
In 2022/23 we delivered more programmes than ever before. But we are ambitious to increase our reach and impact. All donations, big or small, will make a real difference to our work and help us to increase our impact.
